So, a quick life update before we get into this week's tip.
I'm no longer in Cyprus. I'm writing this from Da Nang, Vietnam 🇻🇳
You might have read that and thought "wait, didn't you just say a month ago that Cyprus is where you’re setting up permanent base?"
Yeah. I did say that.
And I meant it at the time.
It’s just that the reality turned out to be more complicated than I expected.
I'm working on a video that goes into the full story, because it deserves more than a few paragraphs in a newsletter.
But if there's one thing I've learned from this, it's that changing your mind after publicly committing to something is one of the hardest things you can do.
At the same time though, it’s how you build trust.
The alternative is pretending you never said it, and people see through that over time.
Anyway. Da Nang is treating me well.
Now for this week's actual value.

The new office in Da Nang that I’m writing this from!
You don't need new ideas. You need new formats.
A few months ago I built a feature inside SuperX called AI Writer.
You might not believe it, but it's an AI writing tool that helps you write tweets.
When it was ready, I screen recorded a demo and posted it on X.

Then I repackaged the exact same feature, same demo, same product, but this time I filmed myself dancing while showing it off.

Same feature. Same idea. Different format. 50% more views.
And I didn't stop there.
I repackaged it again a few weeks later with a slightly different angle and it performed well again, because by that point most people had already forgotten the first version.
This works because people forget fast on the Internet.
2-3 months is like 200 years online.
A whole new wave of your audience will see it fresh.
So if you posted a thread that did well three months ago, repost it.
If you filmed a tutorial as a screen recording, film it again with your face in it.
If you wrote a breakdown as text, turn it into a carousel or a short video.
The biggest creators online do this constantly.
You just don't notice because you, too, forget.
Five ways to repackage that actually work:
Here’s a fun table for you:
OLD FORMAT | NEW FORMAT |
|---|---|
Text post | Video with your face in it |
Thread | Repost with a new hook |
Screen recording | You on camera showing the same thing |
Blog post or newsletter | Pull out the best line or two as a standalone tweet |
Tutorial | Before/after comparison showing the result |
That's it.
Try at least one of these this week with something you've already posted.
Question for you: have you ever reposted or repackaged something and had it do better the second time around? Reply and let me know, and I might feature it in next week’s edition :)
See you next Tuesday.
You've got this.
