I get asked a lot how I grow on X.
People expect some secret algorithm hack.
So here it is: there is none.
But I do have a system.
I follow this same 4-step loop every week. I've done it for over a year, and it's how I grew SuperX to over $30k/month and gained over 40,000 followers.
It works on any text-based platform: X, LinkedIn, Threads.
Here's the whole thing.
The loop is:
entertaining → educational → inspirational → convincing
In that order.
Then you restart.
Step 1: Entertaining
This is your way into the algorithm.
X pushes content that holds attention, so if people stop scrolling to watch your post, then it gets shown to more people.
For me this was the dancing demo videos.

I was stuck in my room in Medellín after a hospital stint and thought it'd be funny to dance while demoing a SuperX feature, and Marc Lou ended up retweeting one.
These videos weren't calculated, I just had fun making them.
But from a strategic angle: they warm you up in the algorithm.
Thousands of people interact with your post, and as a result X serves your next posts to those same people.
Step 2: Educational
Now you've got their attention, give them something useful.
This could be a thread, a tutorial, or a breakdown.

As long as it’s something the reader can walk away with.
The audience from your entertaining post is now seeing your educational post. They already like you. Now they're learning from you.
If you can connect the two, it compounds. I'd do a dancing demo of a feature, then post a thread explaining the strategy behind it.
Step 3: Inspirational
By now you've probably gained followers, views, maybe sales.
So share the number and connect it to your story.

The people who watched your video and read your thread now see the results.
They're actually following your journey.
And if that post goes viral, you've warmed up the algorithm again. The loop restarts.
Step 4: Convincing
This is the softest step, and to be honest it’s not really its own step. It lives inside the other three.
At the bottom of your educational thread, you mention your product.

After a milestone post, you again mention your product.
If the first 3 steps landed, nobody sees it as an ad. It's just the thing you've been building in front of them.
Why most people don't do this.
The reason most people aren't consistent on X isn't laziness. It's that they don't have a framework.
They open the app, stare at the compose box, don't know what to post, and close it to go back to scrolling (that might be you).
Having a loop to follow fixes that.
And it’s also why I built SuperX. I literally used SuperX to grow SuperX (see what I did there…? if not, refer back to step 4).
One more thing.
I like to think about X as if it’s a networking event where everyone's already deep in conversation and nobody knows you're there.
You wouldn't shout to get attention. You'd walk up to one person, introduce yourself, and have a real conversation. Then move to the next person, and the next.
The loop is the structure, but the whole philosophy underneath it all is just to be a real person.
Genuine interaction creates time on the platform, and time on the platform is what the algorithm rewards.
Question for you: what part of growing on X / your business do you struggle with most? Reply and let me know so I know what to include in future editions. I read every single one :)
See you next Tuesday.
You've got this.
