How to get new customers while you sleep
Stop wasting time on marketing techniques that don't work. Start playing the long game, so you can reap the rewards while you sleep.
Last week was crazy.
I flew home from Bangkok to London. ✈️
Saw my family for the first time in 10 months. ❤️
Oh, and my SEO finally took off.

I’m now averaging almost 500 daily impressions on Google search alone.
And that’s what this week’s newsletter is going to be about.
The secret to passive marketing
Passive marketing is all about playing the long game.
Putting in the work early.
So that later, you can enjoy endless traffic while you sleep.
SEO: Search Engine Optimization
One of the most powerful passive marketing techniques is SEO.
When someone looks up your niche on Google.
You want them to find you.
Not your competitors.

Optimize for your most important keywords.
So, how do you do it?
1. Start early, and I mean early
Domains ending in .com work the best.
So, buy one and get it live as soon as physically possible.
SEO typically takes 2-3 months to warm up.
So don’t hang about.
2. Backlinks, backlinks, backlinks
You need to get your domain authority up.
That way Google will know you mean business.
Reach out to blogs.
Reach out to newsletters.
Tell them what you offer and how you can help their readers, and ask them to drop a link to you.
Again, the sooner you start the better.
3. Free tools
This is the kicker.
Research your niche’s highest-volume lowest-competition keywords on a site like Keyword Planner.
Once you have a handful, build free tools around them with the keyword in the title.
That’s how I built CVSS 3.1 calculator.
Which now brings me almost 70% of my search traffic.
The best part: they can also be used to increase your backlinks.
A win-win if you ask me.
What are you waiting for?
It’s that simple:
Start early.
Build backlinks.
Launch free tools.
All of the time invested will be worth it.
Especially when you wake up to 100 new customers overnight. 🤑
You’ve got this!
